May 2009 -- Known for its awesome Hamburgers, John Bull English Pub in West Palm Beach provided the perfect setting for our “National Hamburger Month” SFPRN mixer. While SFPRN Founder, Linda Hamburger, doesn’t claim to own the month, it was still a great excuse to get together with some terrific PR pros. 

Guests had a terrific time chatting, tossing around on a number of topics including new media and the state of the industry today. Recent SFPRN events have provided for some great round-tables discussions. Not the “usual” type of networking, but more like visiting with friends around a table at a favorite locale. 

Our group included:   Melissa Wilkinson, PR Director of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre; Zeev Weissman, President of Creative Visual Solutions; 760AM ESPN Radio’s Stephanie Prince; Felicia D. Moore with La HiTz Media & AdFM, Inc.; Steve Menke, Mutual of America;  J.P. Hervis, a very experienced / savvy TV on air newsman looking to move toward PR – and others. 

Katy Lynch of Dine Magazine did a fantastic job by acquiring us the venue and negotiating awesome appetizers.
