May 2008 – The South Florida Public Relations Network hosted an event at Gigi’s Tavern located in Mizner Park on Wednesday, May 28 to help raise funds and awareness for FAU Athletics. In attendance at the fun-filled event were Coach Howard Schnellenberger, many FAU “boosters” and a dancing cow.  Okay, under cow costume was performance artist John Mallory who often performs at events and parties and has been featured on national TV.

The two hour events-packed party featured a terrific cast of vendors and entertainment that included: Natasha Lipshtick & The Psychic Yentas; Risque Cakes; MUSIC/DJ courtesy of Lawrence Of Florida Entertainment & Events; “Casino Charisma” gaming provided by A Hot Party; “Summer Basics” Fashion Show staged by LuxLife Productions; and drawing for prizes including a three night’s stay at the fabulous Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort courtesy of Aruba Tourism Authority & Divi Resorts; $50.00 Gift Certificate toward a next special event courtesy of Scott Evans Productions; and two $500.00 certificates to host one's own office party courtesy of America’s Backyard; Limo for Coach provided by Hot Pursuit Limos.

A few faces in the crowd included: FAU Football Coach Howard Schnellenberger; Publicist Fran B. Schwartz; HelmsBriscoe Regional Manager Steven Pollock; Janeen DePinto and Randi Kotok of MDG Advertising; Publicist Lori Dolan; Angelina O. Buckly, SE Regional Director of the Aruba Tourism Authority;  Posche Models Agency Director Tyler Molinari; Mary Ann Copeland, Sales and Catering Manager of Hilton Garden Inn; and The Ticket’s Account Executive Larry Podwill, and other wonderful guests!
